AFP publishes Guide to Netting, Pooling and In-House Banking

The Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) has published a guide for its members on Netting, Pooling and In-House Banking.
The guide looks at the changes that have taken place in global cash concentration in recent years, in light of changing regulations, technology and banking practices. It covers the following topics:
- adopting efficient internal structures;
- netting in a global context;
- pooling (including a case study on global notional cash pooling); and
- in-house banking
The guide is the latest in the Global Interconnectivity series and focuses on the techniques available to multinational organisations for gaining better control and visibility of their cash and improve risk management. It provides guidance on how to choose the structure, technologies and techniques best suited to your company's needs.
