ICD tops the list in a number of best places to work surveys

ICD, a provider of money market funds and other short-term investments through an independent portal, has recently gained recognition on numerous lists of highest rated businesses as determined by Fortune and Great Place to Work. ICD is ranked 18th in the category of "Best Small Workplaces 2022", 38th in the category of "Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance 2022" and 55th in the category of "Best Workplaces in the Bay Area 2022".

Tory Hazard, Chief Executive Officer, ICD, commented that the foundation of their rankings stem from their employees. Additionally, Hazard said, “our employees are at the heart of our culture, where serving our clients, communities, and one another is at the heart of everything we do.”

Great Place to Work collaborated with Fortune to further analyse the responses of over 30,000 employees surveyed earlier this year to certify companies as excellent workplaces, creating the Best Workplaces lists. ICD reportedly received its certification in May 2022, with 96% of its employees stating it is a great place to work, compared to 57% at the average US-based company.

According to reports, Great Place to Work is the only corporate culture award in America that chooses winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Businesses are judged on how well they create a positive employee experience that takes into account every aspect of their employees' identities, including race, gender, age, disability status, and job functions.
