What do you want from your TMS supplier’s web-site?
by Jack Large
For many years cash and treasury TMS suppliers world-wide have been extending their offerings and partnerships to try and lock-in their users, their clients. The world-wide-web and cloud technology have given them all sorts of opportunties to provide even more ‘useful’ information and advice. The web-site bottom menu of two leading TMS suppliers show what is happening with an increasing amount of information and advice:

BELLIN take TMS web-site to the next level
BELLIN have always been aggressively different in marketing their tm5 TMS solution, shamelessly mentioning their solutions at every opportunity and with their Love Treasury campaigns and their beautiful (and useful) ‘We love treasury’ books. But now they really have taken it to another level:
BELLINTV.com – It’s Treasurytainment!
Their web-site bottom menu shows the comprehensive coverage:

The videos use various techniques to explain fundamental concepts. e.g. BELLIN TV’s newest episode of “On the Move with Mr. B and find out how to protect yourself from payment fraud while taking a breathtaking visual tour through the Black Forest!” Not surprisingly, this features Martin Bellin explaining (in a 9:48 mins video), with some neat examples and analogies, “How to outwit cybercrime”.
CTMfile take: BELLIN TMS supplier’s web-site is now a general corporate treasury web-site, rather than just being about their own products and services. Time will tell how successful this initiative will be in 1) making their existing clients more loyal, and 2) attracting more clients. But, as always with BELLIN, it looks beautiful.
