ACT launch new starter certificate – “the first step to treasury success”
by Kylene Casanova
The competition in corporate treasury qualifications is hotting up, it just used to be the UK’s ACT and the AFP in the US both offering corporate treasury courses and qualifications.
Last year, Robin Page’s Treasury Management International launched the TMIAcademy providing:
- eLearning with 60 courses
- How to Guides ranging from ‘Introduction to Liquidity Management’ to ‘How to - Introduction of Funding the Business’ (Written by the incredibly industrious Helen Sanders who is also Editor of TMI.)
- case studies.
New ACT starter certificate
The ACT’s new Certificate in Treasury Fundamentals (CertTF). ACT say that, “CertTF provides the core knowledge and skills for anyone needing to operate at a tactical level in treasury and corporate finance”. ACT ‘at a glance’ description of the course reads:
- takes 3-6 months to complete
- flexible online learning and study on the go
- £395 for the online course and a £75 assessment fee
- includes one year’s free eAffiliate membership of the ACT.
The CertTF course starts 18 May. Further details here.
