Aite say that while no solution vendor in the market currently provides a full portfolio of TiMS features, they believe many are moving toward providing such offerings in the future. TMS vendors are already expanding their TMS platforms into areas that constitute the TiMS ecosystem.

While this report profiles several "traditional" TMS vendors, TMS vendors are not the only competitors in this race. Aite have also identified four "new entrant" vendors that possess the "missing" parts that a TMS needs to grow into a TiMS. These vendors offer treasury solutions that fulfill the more specific and mission-critical needs of treasurers (e.g., hedge risk management, investment vehicles, cash management and supply chain finance, FX and money market management, cash flow analysis).
