Align Commerce’s multi-rail, blockchain payment service now offers insurance cover

Introducing a new payment service that uses a multi-rail combination of blockchain electronic technology alongside well proven wire and treasury management technology, see earlier review, is not easy. Positioning this service as a “Send and Receive Global Payments by Email” service makes it critical to generate confidence and familiarity with the service.

To give 100% confidence in the service, Align Commerce announced, in May, that it had enhanced protection for its small- and medium-sized business (SMB) clients sending payments internationally, by obtaining insurance to safeguard against losses as a result of a physical or cyber-security breach, theft, or operational errors and omissions. Align believe that, “These policies, together with our commitment to operating robust regulatory and compliance programs, helps build customer confidence in using its modern cross-border payment solutions.”

Align Commerce solution

Align Commerce’s unique “multi-rail” platform, employs the blockchain electronic rail combined with wire and treasury management rails to route transfers from Point A to Point B in the most efficient manner possible without having to use intermediary banks – or pay the fees associated with them.

Align Commerce have just connected their payment service to China, Brazil and Mexico. Overall Align Commerce can make payments to and from more than 60 countries globally

Users

There are a growing number of users around the world including in US, Cyprus, Philippines, who report total cost of making international payments via Align Commerce is low - some report total cost as low as 1.7% including currency exchange - combined with good customer support.
