Asia-Pacific survey: Standard Chartered is the best bank for account and transaction bank facilities

In a survey conducted by East & Partners research group in May and November 2012 with some 1,000 CFOs and corporate treasurers (at largest companies by turnover*) interviewed revealed that for account and transaction banking services**:
- Standard Chartered topped the satisfaction ratings with an average of 1.26 (1 is completely satisfied, 5 completely dissatisfied)
- J.P. Morgan second with 1.38
- Bank of China's rating has risen from 2.59 in 2004 to 1.77 today
- Hang Seng Bank. UOB and Citi received ratings of 1.86 to 1.89.
*The group of 1,000 is based on the top 100 institutions as measured by annual revenues in each of the following markets: China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwant and Thailand.
**East & Partners's definition includes: cash and liquidity management, payment processing, remittance process, Internet banking, desk-top banking, cross-border payments and international transaction banking.
