J&W Associates‘ annual survey of the banks in Middle East & Africa cash management coverage and services, showed that the coverage remain relatively unchanged. In Sub-Saharan Africa three banks dominate with:

• Standard Chartered having the great combined coverage 15 own branch countries and 23 SLA partner countries
• Standard Bank has the most own branch countries with 18
• Barclays is next with 12 own branch countries and the most branches in each country

In the MENA region: Citi and HSBC have the greatest combined coverage with 13 countries.
