Cambridge Mercantile Group launches Automated Payables Solutions with a card first enrolment program

Cambridge Mercantile Group, a global payment services' provider with offices world-wide, have launched a new platform, Automated Payables Solutions (APS), which will help corporations move from cheques to electronic payments in an easy and efficient manner.

The new service offers a quick and secure enrolment of suppliers, giving them the choices of the payment method and remittance options. Using a card first approach, with an ACH/EFT backstop, Cambridge Mercantile claim that companies will be able to convert 75% of payments from check to be electronic in just 90 days of implementation. Over half of larger organizations are expected to convert to electronic payments over the next three years.
