The annual J&W Associates survey of the global network banks showed that neither the continuing financial crisis nor the increasing cost of compliance with new regulations such as Basel III and Dod-Frank has deterred the global network banks from investing in their cash and treasury management services over the last twelve months. The coverage of the Global Network Banks remains relatively unchanged with Citi having by far the greatest number of own branch countries, while Standard Chartered retains their lead as the provider of the largest network combining their own branch countries with their electronically integrated and SLA partner banks, as the figure below shows.
