AxiomSL Collaborates with JWG and Industry Leaders on Global Digital Regulatory Reporting Initiatives
AxiomSL, a leading provider of regulatory reporting and risk management solutions, has joined JWG, the financial services regulatory intelligence company, as a member of two working groups and JWG’s globally acclaimed RegTech conference. AxiomSL is working with JWG’s new reporting task force and the Global Derivatives Digital Regulatory Reporting Programme to collaborate with other software developers, trade associations, regulators and financial institutions on digital standards for regulatory reporting.
By working with JWG, AxiomSL will be collaborating directly with regulators, financial institutions, and other software companies to create open-source software that will reduce interpretation nuances and digitize complex financial regulatory rulebooks. This work will serve as the foundation for fully automated regulatory reporting and the development of commercial solutions to support institutional compliance workflows.
Adyen & Shiji partner to streamline hospitality payments
Adyen, the global payments platform used by many of the world’s leading companies, today announced the launch of its integration with Shiji Payments, providing hospitality businesses the ability to utilize the Adyen platform together with Shiji, a leader in the provision of technological solutions for the hospitality, food service, retail, and entertainment industries.
This new integration simplifies the payment process for hospitality businesses by removing the need for a list of platforms and suppliers which usually includes separate processes for property management systems, food and beverage point of sale, and guest experience platforms not to mention the different payments service providers for each.
BNP Paribas completes the acquisition of Exane to enable a full suite of equities services
In July BNP announced that BNP Paribas announces that it had received all necessary approvals and completed the acquisition of 100% of Exane, thus raising its stake from the 50% previously held during a successful 17-year partnership.
Leveraging Exane’s expertise in cash equities (execution and research) and derivatives, BNP Paribas will be able to provide a full suite of services on equities to Institutional investors and Corporates worldwide.
BNY Mellon to Bolster Digital Solutions Capabilities with Planned Acquisition of Fund Management Technology Leader Milestone Group
In July, The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation announced it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Milestone Group, a leading provider of fund management technology.
Roman Regelman, BNY Mellon's CEO of Asset Servicing and Head of Digital explained, "We gain both industry-leading technology as well as the expertise that Milestone is known for globally. This is a significant step in our continuous evolution — blending leading-edge technologies and services to deliver greater efficiency and value for our clients."
By acquiring Milestone, BNY Mellon will advance the digitization and automation of core accounting and asset services, delivering increased accuracy and timeliness. It also will expand BNY Mellon's digital offerings and core capabilities — adding OCIO services, cash allocation and fair value control solutions to the existing suite of NAV solutions.
