Business and technology service provider Logica has signed an agreement with Rabobank to help the bank's corporate customers meet the introduction of Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). As part of this collaboration, Logica will enable the Netherlands-based bank to meet the SEPA requirements through use of their a 'Software as a Service' platform (SaaS) which:

• converts payment instructions and bank account numbers to the European IBAN/BIC standard
• provides mandate management services to support the implementation of the new European direct debit process
• creates a SEPA payment hub to support all incoming and outgoing SEPA transactions.
