Square commenced their merchant services in the USA with a flat 2.75% fee per swipe for mobile payments enabling anyone to accept credit and debit cards. They have now expanded its simple pricing for card processing for small businesses with a single monthly fee and 0% processing charges. This is the first pricing option that gives small businesses a lower processing fee than bigger merchants.

Merchants can now process up to $250,000 per annum for one flat $275 fee per month with no fee per swipe.
