In the cloud based treasury management system and payment platforms, such as the Treasury Intelligence Solution (TIS) payment platform, it is relatively easy to incorporate new modules. The introduction of the TIS new web-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)SEPA Direct Debit (SDD) module fits into the central, multibank and multi-ERP-capable payment transaction platform, as the figure below shows:

The SEPA module enables companies to centralise their mandate management in an audit-proof manner, irrespective of the ERP system(s) used. It is designed for companies with high volumes of debiting authorisations, the SEPA Direct Debit module functionality includes:
- importing existing direct debit mandates and paper mandates
- creation of mandate letters and other facilities
- catering for country variations in
- adding new mandates and banks
- linking to banks via host-to-host connections or SWIFT
- meeting the latest security standards (certified to ISO 27001).
The SDD Mandate Management solution only takes a few days to implement as no major IT development is required. The new module uses the existing ERP system links via the TIS Bank Transaction Module plug in.
Users and Charges
The majority of the TIS Direct Debit Mandate solution usage is for B2B mandates only. Already there are 20+ users in Central Europe. Charges are normally part of the payment solution package and are based upon the number of mandates.
