Tradeshift‘s Collaborative Workflow App shows the future of e-billing
by Kylene Casanova
Tradeshift, the Danish e-invoicing B2B billing platform, has launched a Tradeshift Workflow app, which is a new way for colleagues to act on, process and collaborate around key business interactions in real time, no matter where they sit in your organization. Tradeshift Workflow is “a cloud-based and mobile-friendly solution that automates repetitive time-consuming tasks to free up human intelligence for the work that matters.“ according to Tradeshift.
Tradeshift’s Collaborative Workflow app promotes transparency and integrates suppliers into the billing process. It starts with the invoices which are automatically forwarded to the customer’s ERP system with the appropriate metadata. If there are any errors, it is immediately brought to an employee’s attention through the Tradeshift interface, and they can instantly act and correct.
Invoices without a purchase order get routed to the appropriate people within the enterprise who can approve, reject, forward the invoices and add metadata such as general ledger account number or cost centre number - before forwarding it to their ERP system.
Supplier of automotive seating systems and electrical power management systems Lear Corporation has selected Tradeshift Collaborative Workflow for its operations worldwide.
This is the future of E-Billing, the integration of all involved parties through mobile and the cloud based services, so transaction never (hopefully) get dropped or forgotten.
