Basware announces new tool for analysing company’s procure-to-pay transactions

Basware, a leading provider of e-invoicing and purchase-to-pay solutions, has launched a new reporting suite, Basware Analytics. Offering sophisticated data visualisation, Basware claim it will empower employees across the business to improve cost management and become financial champions.

To obtain an accurate picture of financial performance transactional data can only be achieved by combining invoicing, procurement, and accounts payable across a company's trade network. Basware Analytics provides deep analysis and insight across the vast range of Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) information to help businesses make smarter decisions.

Basware Analytics provides customisable dashboards tailored to specific job functions to maximise the relevance for CFOs, Financial Shared Service Centre (FSSC) leaders, procurement professionals and other business leaders looking for deep P2P analytics. These dashboards include:

  • CFO / CPO Spend Visibility – provides cross-enterprise visibility of spending, including: by location and category; by supplier or organisation; and over time and by value
  • CFO / CPO Vendor Analysis – identifies supplier rationalisation and negotiation opportunities by visualising top suppliers by spend value and transaction volume
  • FSSC / AP Manager Process Metrics – enables visualising average invoice cycle time, manual financial process efficiency, invoice cycle details by supplier and average invoice approval and review process duration
  • Business Managers Tracking – showing cost centre spend by location; category and supplier which enables cost centre owners to spot cash-saving opportunities and support their budget management.

Basware Analytics is also available via tablet devices.

Basware Analytics sits on Basware's Alusta platform and will be available in the next release in June.
