Citi launches new mobile services for T&E Commercial Card users and corporate treasury departmen

Citi have added new mobile functionality to their GTS Mobile service with differentiated offerings for their Commercial Card and Treasury Service customers.

Citi's Commercial Card users, since November 2011, have been able to receive mobile alerts - statement ready to be viewed, payment is due, payment is past-due date, and payment has been received - to enable cardholders and programme administrators to keep track of their spend. Cardholders using the service log on to Citi's online card management tool, CitiManager, to select and register for the SMS alerts they wish to receive. Additional alert notifications will be available in 2012 including - when card is within defined % of the credit limit, and when transaction exceeds a pre-designated threshold. In addition, in 2012 cardholders will be able to opt for two 'On Demand' alerts: account balance, and recently processed transactions.

Since 12 October 2011, corporate treasury departments have been able to use the CitiDirect BE Mobile service to release payments for STP, check accounts balances and transaction status, select language options, and take advantage of the new enhanced user interface.
