EY has launched a Cloud-based risk management platform that can be used by companies already running SAP's enterprise resource planning (ERP) application. The consultancy firm's Business Integrity Platform is built on the SAP Cloud Platform, which is a platform-as-a-service with comprehensive application development services and capabilities. EY's risk management platform provides a digital risk management service for finance departments and CFOs.
The Business Integrity Platform offers advanced tools to examine the company's SAP-based business processes, enabling continuous risk-monitoring and identification of potential risk and control issues.
The platform includes risk analytics and governance, risk and compliance (GRC) services. It also offers cloud-based computing, leverages EY’s intellectual property.
Noting that there is demand for more comprehensive governance, risk and compliance data, EY's Matt Polak said that the Business Integrity Platform “supports real-time monitoring of risks, saving valuable resources while helping to increase the value of the information generated by the SAP software”.
