Finance professionals remain cautious about holdings outside U.S. - AFP survey

Given Brexit and the dire state of the global economy, the 2016 AFP Liquidity Survey, (Source & Copyright©2016 - AFP) showed that:
- liquidity investment policy remained cautious:
- only 42 percent of organizations made few changes to their cash and investment balances outside the U.S. from May 2015 to May 2016:
- 90% of finance professionals indicate their relationship with their bank is of utmost importance when choosing where to invest, so not surprisingly, bank deposits still dominate short-term portfolion allocations:
- surprisingly AFP report that only 73% of organizations have a written investment policy that dictates their short-term investment strategy.
