Treasury research now focusing on specific segments
by Jack Large
The corporate treasury service industry is maturing. An important indication of this is how research is now being carried out on specific types of corporate treasury departments rather than on corporate treasury departments in general/
New survey
Strategic Treasurer and Kyriba are currently conducting a survey specifically oriented towards college and university treasury practitioners and bursars. The Higher Education survey aims to identify the specific drivers, challenges, and other factors impacting both private and public universities. Topics covered include technology use, fraud and security concerns, and top compliance challenges. Results from this survey are compared against data obtained from the broader corporate environment to better understand how the treasury and finance functions within Higher Education differ from other industries. Once the survey results have been analysed, a limited summary to the general public will be released, but an extensive report will be provided exclusively to those who complete the survey for benchmarking and best practices purposes.
Topics Covered:
- Technology & Staffing
- Financial Operations & Outlook
- Regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS)
- Fraud & Security
- Practitioner Priorities & Concerns.
